Hello everyone. I'm new to the coin world and looking forward to learning what it's all about.

Here's a 1934 quarter that I bought as "junk" and am wondering if it might have any numismatic value. All feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

The 1934 and 1939 WQs are the two early WQs that are truly common to find in most any grade. As such, their values are intimitely tied to the value of their silver content. It seems to me to be a shame that a 1934 with that much meat remaining is only viewed as junk silver, but that is the reality of the market with silver over $30. Years ago, when silver was around $5 or so, these coins traded at a slight premium to their silver content, but that premium has vanished.
