These are unusual products from The Royal Mint. The Royal Mint Arthurian Legend Masterpiece Silver Medal is struck in eight ounces of silver with an edition of 500. http://tinyurl.com/92htg75 Each Gold Masterpiece is one of only 25 that will ever be produced. http://tinyurl.com/8obha78 Not coins, and not cheap, but these are very limited, and represent the best that The Royal Mint can produce...so I feel they should have some appeal. Last year's sold out and now command a premium. What are people's thoughts on these? Are they an offence to the senses (not being coins) or can you appreciate them as art?
I'm sure they will appeal to the Ren-Fair folk here in the US, but they're usually dirty hippies with no money. P.S. Any Ren-Fair folk who might be present or reading this are excluded of course.
my experience with ren fairs is that they are attended by people that can afford to spend hundreds and even thousands of dollars on costumes that they may wear once a year, to attend an event that costs more than your average vacation to attend. maybe this is a niche group to target. Richard
