I recently purchased 2012S ATB 5 coin set certified PCGS PR69DCAM for $75.00. Is this a good deal, what do you feel is the future of this series and what do you like about the quarters?

Whats a fair price for 5 certified silver quarters in that grade?

Sorry I didn't see silver in the first post I'd say you did good if they are silver :)

Thanks guys, yes I had forgotten to include the silver part. I LOVE the park quarters and all old coinage. I am sticking to the park coinage for now as they are really a nice addition and the best thing the mint has offered in a long time.

I've only got three in silver so far. One slabbed MS69 and two in 2x2s. Paid melt for all three.

One of my LCSs had them for $8 each in 2x2s. $15 each for a set doesn't sound too bad but you're going to want to keep up with them. Having the complete set in all certified holders will be what brings you a return on investment in the future, IMHO.

  9. I think you got a decent deal. I am putting together a raw ATB silver set. IMO, these are flying under the radar. TC

I would have bought a set from the mint.
Graded 69's generally go down in value after a year or two. You pay a premium buying them when they first come out that you may not ever get back. Unless the price of silver doubles.

Do a completed auction search on ebay for the 2010's. I've seen 69's sell for only a couple bucks over raw ones.

i wouldnt pay more than 10 bucks a piece for them slabbed if possible, they will drop in price all moderns do, the silver state quarters are quite cheap now.
