    Box #3 of halves 1-40%
    Box #4 of halves skunk
Box #5 of halves 4-40%, 1-90%. Almost like a beacon a brilliant BU 1969 appeared as I opened one roll. That was exciting!
Box #6 of halves had 1-40% and 2 90% as well as two enders! One of the enders was an additional 40% which I didn't even recognize as an ender until I opened it. The other ender looks like it is a 90% as well as all the additional silver contained within the roll. ;) Think I'll take some of the advice offered on this site and offer it on ebay.
Also came across $170 in CWR's but they were already thoroughly inspected. skunk

    Meanwhile....

    box 1 dimes - '46
    box 2 dimes - '62D

Mom gave me a bunch of foreign coins she found while unpacking to check out. Apparently they were coins Dad had picked up during his travels during and after the military. Nothing exciting as far as value - but I took the imaginary journey in my head, wondering what Dad was up to in those times. Amongst them were a Japanese 50 Sen, a German 50 pfennig and 2 Deutsche Mark, a UK big penny and 3 pence from 1966, lots of drachma and lepta from the early 70's and some Spanish pesetas from 1978. I'll report back and return them to Mom for keeping and hopefully she'll give me some good stories in trade.

    Sweet Columbus Day!

Just randomly, I bought a '42S war nickel for $2 at an out of town antiques shop. The rest of my North Shore trip was absolutely worth it!

$90 CWR halves - dirty dumps, UGH!
$50 CWR halves - 34 40%ers! I was laughing so hard and shouting "YES!" in the parking lot!
    box 1 dimes - '64D
    box 2 dimes - skunk

On Saturday, I said I was DETERMINED to find some freakin halves this weekend since boxes haven't been so great lately. Finally a bank run that paid off!

I have been hanging out on this board the last week because of interest in searching for silver. I have been collecting silver coins for a while now and enjoy going to flea markets and heckling people for their silver. Today I decided to go to a local bank to see if they had halves and the tellers had $9 worth together. I got in my car and looked and 4 were 40%ers. This is the first time I went to the bank to try and find any and I know it set the bar high and now I just want to go to every bank in my area.

Did a box of cents again...totals:
    Total Copper-688
    Wheaties-11(47D,57D,58D,40,39,56D,58,46D,46,44,52D)
    Canadian-10(81,69,87,63,59,66,98,80,2011,87)
    Avg copper per roll-13.76

With this box I was able to wrap my first whole box of strictly copper cents--a little over 16lbs of just copper

    Wow, you guys kick butt!
I have yet to find anysilver at all. I have been through $100 of halves, $50 of cents, 50 nickels and 50 in dimes and not one silver. The Texas border must have alot of roll hunters...

Volume is the one and only key, a little luck is helpful, but volume will bring the silver. Keep in mind some people search 4 x as much coin as they make in a year.
