@mrweaseluv I didn't know that PCGS had a "Brilliant Uncirculated" grade. Do they give that grade to a coin with bag marks, but is otherwise OK? If so, why wouldn't it get a "Damaged" grade? Or am I missing something?
Excellent collection! However, that picture is exactly why I don't collect the Morgan Dollar series. There are too many dates and too many mint marks. I have hundreds of them but my OCD would make me collect them all in the same grade and same holder. I'd go bonkers (not to mention poor) trying to do that. Nontheless, nice!
Those come from "bulk" submission where the person having them graded pays a cheaper price by having them slab any under a certain grade with letter grades rather then number grades. (cheaper that way)
And yeah that 1880 s in MS64PL is damn near the prettiest Morgan I've ever seen... but then when was the last time you saw an 1880 that wasn't undergraded lol... Just wish the plastic was a lil less scratchy.. may try some slab renew/headlight polish on the plastic in the near future...
