Hit up banks this am with my newly boosted bankroll...

    $2200 in dimes
    $1250 in halves
    $280 in nickels.

The bag on the left is loose change I had in my car that I cleaned out today since it's off to be detailed this weekend while I'm at the beach. Getting a new car next week, a Lexus, big step up from my beat 20 year old 1993 3000GT. Lol.

Lot of '72's there... flip them over and check for type 2's. If you don't know what I'm talking about, google it. They're the so-called "King of Ikes". Worth about $40 in XF-AU and $100+ in UNC.

$116 in nickels had 9 wartime, around 35 pre-1960 besides a 1936 buffalo. Included in there was a 48-S. In $25 of pennies I got 19 wheats including a 1927 that was in pretty good shape and a 1926 that was painted and messed up. Only worth its weight in copper, but still neat to find two coins more than 80 years old in one box.

Most people on here don't keep 60's, but I do. Here's a link that has how many of each year were minted:

    http://coinauctionshelp.com/Jefferson_Nickel_Mintages_Price_Guide.html

I don't keep '64, but finding something from the 60's in almost every roll just makes doing nickels feel more worthwhile, even though it's not likely that circulated nickels from that decade will ever be particularly valuable. Worst case scenario, you change your mind and take them all back to the bank at once. :p

TEN boxes of half dollars, skunk? Ouch.

    Today's results:

    $5 Pennies: 85 copper, 3 Canadian, 1956D.

    $14 Nickles: 1939P, 1952D, 1952P, 1957D, 1 Canadian, 3 extra. Plus a 1954D in change.

    $20 Dimes: Skunk.

$200 Quarters: FINALLY got an Oklahoma ATB P hole-filler!:) Now I can complain about needing the Mississippi P. Don't see many of those even in D, unlike the Oklahoma where I still get a couple in every roll it seems.
