$500.10 bag of dimes today. The first handful produced a dinged up 1959 roosie. 1956 and 1947 roosies were hiding at the bottom along with a rough 1941 merc!

The Coin Gods were not appeased. Today's results:

    $10 Nickles: 1940D, 1941S, 1954P, 1956D.

    $25 Dimes: Skunk.

    $80 Quarters: Skunk.

Having to rely on cashiers at stores to take my rolls, I can't really go get boxes and boxes like some people here. The only advantage to this is when I do get rolls at the bank, I know I will not get my own rolls back, as the stores will use them for giving change. And one is gone, nobody knows or will say why. Doesn't sound good. If quit, they'd say so. If fired, I hope it wasn't for buying my rolls.

Why can't you turn in the rolls to banks, simpsonfan?

The other box of halves that I was supposed to pick up yesterday did not disappoint! It had two 64's, another 12 bright and shiny '68 D's, and a '69 D!
Also got $13 loose halves which produced one more 40%. $10 CWR halves and two loose Ikes had nothing.

Simpsonfan2; When I have extra halves I use them to pay my credit card bill at BofA. Of course it works best if you're not carrying a balance forward. Wells is the Home mortgage holder on the ranch. when my cash for rolls is on the low side, instead of paying the mortgage on the first, I take the mortgage payment, buy some boxes of halves and use the left-overs to pay the mortgage on the 10th. works for me!

Did my 80 dollars in dimes just gave up a 1968 Canadian silver dime. The 42 dollars in nickels was kind of odd, I found probably 30 Canadian nickels 20 or so of which were 63 and 64s. Some more Canadians in the 50s and one was a 45. Gave up common 40s and 50s in u.s nickels. Also gave up a beautiful 1976 S proof and a 1954 that is perfect looking and very lustful. So excited over the proof and the 54. So aside from the Canadians a good day.
