I was Given These in Change Yesterday...

    Yesterday I went food shopping with my mother and she was given these in change...

    Finds:
    -1 1920 P Wheat Penny
    -1 1939 P Nickel

    I was wondering if you could tell me the grades on these and how much they are worth...

    F-15 on the 1920 and VF-25 on the 1939. Nice change, but they are really only worth a few cents over face. Don't let that discourage you though, I'm sure that finding coins of that age had to have some value to you.

    I never have a problem finding 92+ year old coins in change - congrats on the find.

    Nice! a good day for a peeled eye! I agree with everything Kirk said except I think that the nickel is around 35-40.
