    just went threw a roll of wheat pennies and this is what i found worth anything?

    my new penny find.jpg this is a 1943 wheat penny ive heard it so called valuable but think its about maybe 10 to 15 cents any help on veryfying

    no it does not stick to a magnet and it weighs about 3.11 grams

    i dont know how much but if its a real 1943 copper its worth alot, they made steel pennys in 43

    If real, it could be worth over $100,000 USD.

    If it is real, then it would be incredibly valuable (6 figures minimum) because 1943 cents were made of steel. There are a few known that are made of copper. If memory serves me correctly, the last time one was sold, it was for over a million.

    I suggest you repost this in the Error thread (link it here) so that the error experts can look at it. By the way, it is highly unlikely that it is real as this coin has been counterfeited many, many times. However, good luck......keep us posted!

    Also get a picture of the rim, could be a cast copy. How to tell is if you see a small line going thru and around the rim

    If this OP wasn't trolling then I'm sure we won't hear from him again, he's probably changing his pants and finding a coin expert in his area.

    We need clearer images including one of the reverse. And a close up of the date. I believe it to be either a copy or a tooled genuine coin
