Canadian Auction Pick-Up in UK

I was very lucky to pick up a Canadian 1890H 5c at an auction today in the UK.

Scan not great but well known auction house with decent rep described practically as struck.


Hope for MS63, MS64 or better.....

Nice marbury, she's a real beauty. Only based on that small image, a 63 seems easily attainable.

Is it me, or do silver 5 cent pieces in Canada seem to be more available in high grade than other denominations? Maybe because of their lower value maybe people could afford to put them away when brand new. I bought a group of Canadian silver 5 centers once from 1890-1910's and half were AU/BU it seemed.

 

I got it in the UK......so probably never left far from the mint as H designator.
