Can anyone help identify these 2 coins. And any information you know about them? Thank you.

Looks like a lot of French trade dollars and a "fatman" chinese silver dollar. I would be very careful, since both of these types are VERY heavily faked nowadays. In fact, they are two of the three most common fake coins I see when I go to the asian flea market in St Paul, the third being the British trade dollar.

Thanks, but how do I know if these are fakes are not? Is there any way I can find out without taking it to get looked at?

I weighed 3 and two of them came out 26.9 and one was at 27. Is there any other way to make test them? For a beginner, be easy.

A buddy of mine, collects American silver coins and just any other American coins. When I showed him a couple of these, he told me right away that they are silver. We also did the magnet test and none of them reacted. I will take a picture of one on the scale if that would help you guys determine anything. Thanks again

The Fatman dollar has chop marks which is a
good sign as that was the common practice of the day by the merchants.
They don't look like the typical fakes coming from China these days. Looks like they have natural wear patterns and toning. How much did you pay and where did you get them?

My parents got them from my grandparents as gifts for their wedding. My parents and grandparents were from Laos.
