San Francisco Mint Commems

Have any of you placed your orders for any of the four commemorative coins in this series? To be honest, I think the obverse designs look pretty nice. However, I am tired of the Mint reusing coin designs, so I don't like that the reverses aren't original...even if they look nice. I still am thinking of maybe getting one of the gold and one of the silver coins. The price is a little steep in my opinion, but hey, if they really use some of the profits to make a coin museum in the old mint, at least it will be going to a good cause. What are your thoughts? Also, is there any information regarding the orders for these so far?

So, nobody's going to buy any of the San Francisco coins?

 

I intend to buy a legacy set when it comes out, it contains the silver dollar, but I'm just not into gold at the moment.

 

I don’t find them attractive so I’m not interested. :secret:

 

I'm going for an unc $ just to see if I can unload it 6-12months down the road for a tidy profit, we'll see.
