I've been collecting the Presidential Medals to go with my First Spouse Bronze collection and I ran across this eBay auction for a Presidential Medal with a mint-mark. Click HERE for the auction. That's not real, right?! I didn't think any of the presidential US Mint-made medals had mint-marks. Well, I bought it just for fun. For 10 bucks it's worth taking a look at it in hand!
Yes it's almost certainly real. A while back they started producing some of the medals, especially the small size ones, at the other mints and so it is possible for some to have mintmarks.
I searched more on the internet and yes, it appears that now I have to collect twice as many medals. Curse my Completeism!
