Pair of Tiberius tribute coins......do they look geniune?

    First post here. I do not have a large coin collection, but I recently started collecting 'biblical' coins. My question to you is: Do these two 'Tiberius tribute pennies' look like the geniune article, or not? Thank you in advance!

    Fake. One on the left looks cast on the obverse and the main reason is both are off center on the reverse in the same position, super super rare for that to happen.

    Plus looking at fakes on a reference site, it matches a common fake below. More then just this for samples.

    Thank you! The reason I was suspicious, was because of the similar way the two were 'struck' on the reverse side....in the same position as you observed.

    Correct. Its one of those type of coins to buy from a very respectable dealer.

    If your interested in a genuine one I can PM you some reputable dealers who have some.
