Here is one which as panned out to be a very interesting cleaning. It appears to be Anastanius 491-518 AD. The letters used to attribute the coin were only the obverse ones DN STA (CROSS) SVIS. Nice one bone, I can't find any pics of it either but Forum Ancient Coins has some nicer pictures of some of his issues here: http://www.forumancientcoins.com/catalog/index.asp?vpar=498&pos=0&iop=3 None of these seem to have the cross on the obverse like yours.Maybe you should submit it to Wildwinds.They only have 10 of his coins in their database. As I've said before,coins from the 5th century are harder to find than hen's teeth.I only have one from Anastasius. By the way,the inscription on yours actually reads DN ANASTA + SIVS PF AVG,and it looks like the mintmark might be ANT Antioch.??
