I have received this coin today, it is brass in color and about the size of any early Canadian half penny. or about the size of a US Large cent. There are many varieties. I believe this to be an imitation token, which does not make it a counterfeit in the sense of the word as many earlier Canadian tokens were imitations and some are very valuable for what they are. I see that it has a very nice detailed strike which is a clue for it being one of the imitation tokens for me anyway. It has 9 strings on the harp. I have a slight bit of disappointment but it could be just typical and not an issue to be concerned about. The coin appears very flat in the image, but upon receiving it, it appears to be either bent or there is some effect from the strike that makes it appear bent, yet it lays flat and this issue appears to be as old as the coin itself. Is it typical for these crude tokens to be less than perfectly flat or have an odd metal flow? I am thinking it is.
It is a Lower Canada coin. If you notice the harp in your link is different than mine. The eBay one has 10 strings and the obverse bust appears to be from the exact same die.
