Hello, Found a Star Note with a good birthdate: May 15th, 1987. Just obviously hard to find a buyer for such a specific number, but how much does everyone think it might be worth if I could find the right buyer? Especially since it's a Star Note. Also, does anyone know of any websites/companies who are looking to purchase birthday notes? Thanks in advance for any info.
There are dealers who buy and sell fancy serial numbers. But unfortunately the market is over saturated with birthday notes from every denomination and series. If you do find a reseller to buy the note, you probably won't get much over face value for a 2009 series in this condition. Your best bet is to put it up on eBay and hope someone bites. Do it as a Buy It Now/Best Offer listing - since it's unlikely you'll get two people in a bidding war over the note.
not really 100% a birthday note. i have sold many graded actual birthday notes. they don't always fetch as much as you would think.
Its neat. I looks like a birthday star note to me and I have saved searches for certain dates on eBay for quite some time. Unfortunately this isn't one of those dates.
I have no idea what he means. Maybe he's thinking of the European date format of dd/mm/yyyy? That wouldn't make much sense since it's on a US note!
