Wide A M cent

How many members are checking for the wide A M cents? Have any of you found one and if so what date did you find?

I have recently started looking for them and out of $250 worth of cents I've found 5 2000 wide AM, none of the other two (1999 or 1998) or of the analogous 1992-D close AM.

 

I forgot all bout the 1992 D closed AM.

 

Have searched hundreds and have never found any. That is my luck in most any endeavor that takes luck.

 

I've found two in the last 10 boxes or so of cents, a 2000 and a 1998.

 

I went thru 1000 pennies and found nothing.

 

Keep looking- I've found one in about $50 worth of coins (though tonylynch had to go through about 5 boxes or $125) and you've "only" looked through $10 so far (although that's still quite a few coins!).

 

I still keep an eye on my change, but found none recently. A few years ago, I went thru about 400 cents dated 2000 before I came across a wide AM. I've never seen a 1998 or 99.
