1972 democratic convention coin.

    Anyone else ever seen one of these? (I have 4-5 of them) they appear to be crome plate over base metal and a poor plating job on the one i have. the one posted is probably my best one.

    I have never seen one, though I understand they were made from old Dodge bumpers. There's an article somewhere about it. What's the size? It appears as if the reverse was 'borrowed' from a Kennedy half?

    I bought them at a yard sale in FL while i was in the navy 200 of em, they made great poker chips on the ship.... (hides)

    Not surprising, they were nominating a candidate for president, and the rev of the half dollar is a very close copy of the presidential seal.

    Sounds like a good use for them.
