FYI, only one thread about the same subject is needed.

 

I found a similar coin when I was younger and, just to see if it was copper from the core or something added afterward, I scratched it. Yes, mine was from the core, and yours might be too. Just don't scratch it like I did! better pics would help to see if any of the clad was removed to reveal the core.

 

Or you could just weigh it. But my money is on BUncirculated's answer.
