If so, can you please tell me what the following items sold for, http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/1933-10k-st-joseph-hospital-school-of-nursing-pin-n http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/10k-gold-pin-st-joseph-nursing-school-paterson-nj They are both ST. Joseph's hospital school of Nursing Paterson N.J. 10k gold pins. I recently aquired one and am wondering iff it is worth more than scrap. Granted that those auctions were 4-5 years ago, ill still get an idea by using the scrap price for those dates. Thanks!
Well I know but St. Joesphs Paterson NJ gold rings and other pin types sell for more than melt since it is local and such but I need to know what they sold for.
Worthpoint looks like it's hooked up with ebay as they get alot of their information from them. I have been waiting to find out how to get an account for free, haven't found out yet. Please, if anyone knows share the secret way. :thumb: Keep on bumpin'
They offer a seven-day free trial, so why don't you sign up? Also, please keep in mind that as the spot price of silver and gold has risen, the premium attached to many items has shrunk in real or relative terms. Therefore, when gold was $500 per ounce and a pin was sold, it might not retain the same real premium and almost certainly will have a lower percentage premium today with gold at $1,750 or so per ounce.
Nah, I won't try something unless I really want to buy their services and like I said I want to get it for free indefinitely. Some of those free trial offers are ripoff scams.
Yep, exactly where I didn't want to go. Guess I'll have to if I want their services. Worthpoint offers a "7 day free trial" which requires disclosing credit card information as a condition of affecting the trial.
Keep in mind that it's not really a 7 day trial either...since it's only like 15 or 20 searches, you'll be used up in about 10 min lol
