Does anyone know of or have any info on why this Mexican 1 Centavo is brass or plated brass? It may look like a light copper toned yellow, but I had to scan this coin (camera is on loan to a fiend) and the scanner doesn't like brass coins. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Also, does anyone have any idea why these coins are off metal? Silver & Brass
