I know u posted this a while ago but i was just looking at ur nickel and if im looking at ur pictures correctly i think i have the same nickel as the one u posted. Mine is a 1940 s and it has the same image as urs. I dont know if u noticed but if u look at the reverse of ur nickel there is a faint imprint of an eagles wings on it from a washington quarter. If u stack ur nickel on top of a quarter u will see that the wings match perfectly. And on the obverse which is also faint there is an outline of washingtons portrait behind jeffersons portrait its alot harder to see the obverse image u really
have to look. I had mine checked by two dealers and both think its a double denomination strike but they arent positive because of how faint the strikes are but that its over 70 yrs old and could be the reason. They both said to send it to be looked at they said it cost about 50$ but i think i might now that i saw urs if im seeing ur pictures correctly. Sorry for such a long message.
