Hello - I found this a number of years ago and would like to know what it is. I do not know the country of origin or even whether or not it is a coin, a religious token or medal of some type. I'd would like to know who the man is that is depicted on the coin, etc. I am hoping someone will be able to shed some light on it and/or point me in the right direction to learn more. Of course, I would also like to know if it is something that may have a special meaning to someone who might like to buy it as it is certainly doing no one any good stashed away in my office drawer! When I rotated the photos, it changed the appearance of the shape which is actually oval as in the third unrotated picture. The last two pics are of the case the coin was found in.
