Can anyone tell me what the frick this is?

    I found this a few years ago and it is the smallest frikkin coin i've seen. It's smaller than a dime! I searched for "1938 nickel" on ebay and it looks like all the coins there are full sized coins unlike this tiny little coin.

    Can someone tell me if this is an authentic coin and how much it's worth?

    I am sure it is not a real coin.

    I am surprised that there is no "copy" somewhere on the coin.

    I have a whole set of those. Buffalo, Indian, Mercury etc. Says something on the wrapper about our shrinking dollar value or something. Novelty coins. Next time I go to the bank I will try and remember to get a shot at them and post.

    It would also help to buy a thesaurus and find a few new adjectives.

    I think that only applies to replicas that are near to original size.
