This Quarter came into my hands through the food service industry. Anyone have more information about what i should do with the Quarter and how to determine a worth if any at all?

Cannot tell what you're looking at. (pics are blurry). Is it the yellow color or is that just from the lighting?

  4. It looks to be a gold plated coin that comes mostly from state quater sets that are sold often on coin vault.
As for value that will be determind by the buyer and how much he would be willing to pay.
I purchased one set of them but dont find them worth collecting as they are not the origal coins due to the plateing.
Maybe someone will be along soon that can give you its honest value.

I for one would not spend it. It almost looks like a misaligned die on the reverse, maybe nothing special but I guess it would come down to the owner to make that decision for himself.

    First, welcome to the neighborhood!

If the coin hasn't been plated with gilt, then you need to adjust your camera for accurate color. The photo of this coin should look like a normal clad coin in hand.

If, in fact, it has been plated and the color in your photo is accurate, then I wouldn't pay any more than face value for this coin regardless of the error.

Also, in the future, please let us know what you think makes a coin look odd to you rather than make us play a guessing game. Fortunately for us, the misalignment on the reverse is obvious, but that isn't always the case.

Guys, he talked about the reverse, not this gold gilted color. Its a miss-alaigned-die or MAD. As far as value, im not sure maybe a couple bucks or so.

Would you please tell this blind man where in his post he mentioned anything about the reverse?

Ruben, if you anagram "tripod" you get "torpid".

If you actually looked at the picture, you would noticed the reverse is what he is talking about. So PLEASE tell this blind man where he mentioned anything about the gold color?

Which is the reverse? The top or the bottom?

Sorry I said off struck but, was thinking broadstrike...can you help me understand the difference between MAD and broadstruck? Is the difference only that it happened to one side of the coin?

Well, I'm still blind and you can't read. He didn't mention any specific error at all. That was my point, and I was being very polite about it.
