Keeping in mind that it's based on a blurry scan so it's hard to determine the exact level of detail, I'd say it appears to have VF details, but it looks like it's been cleaned.

I wouldn't go XF, more like fine. Can't really see the toes on the eagle though. It does look cleaned though.

These are known as Liberty Cap half dimes.
This particular date had a mintage of 1,370,000.
Not rare by any means, but the amount of remaining detail on this one would qualify it as a nice collector-grade coin. There's just one problem. It's been cleaned. Few knowledgable collectors would have any need for this one. There are just too many "original" specimens available.
    Value?
Not nearly as much as an uncleaned specimen.
To give you an idea, Krause lists this coin in VF-20 at $60.
I would be surprised if a knowledgable collector would even make an offer.

Don't take it too hard, jimmy. We have all made mistakes along the way.

I'm a somewhat old coin collector that has been involved in the hobby for the better part of fourty years, and I still learn something new almost every day.

If you ever need any advice on a coin you are considering purchasing, don't hesitate to ask. The folks here are very willing to help.
