Any ideas on what this dime is? I think it might be clad but not sure. The last digit is hard to read.

I am thinking this isn't silver even though I can't make out the last digit. It was a tough one. I went to a different branch tonight for rolls, and they weren't very good. All the penny rolls but one were new. The dimes were skunk it looks.

I'd drop it on a hard surface and then drop a clad dime. A silver dime will have a completely different tone. As for the date, anything made in the 60s is overly common. So, composition is all that matters really.

I've never seen a silver coin do that. I think it is 1965 btw.
