    I'm not an expert on these but it looks like a modern reproduction to me. The metal doesn't look nearly old enough to match the style it is created in.

    There is some greek like characters on the reverse, can be read Basileus Erodos ( = King Herode ! )
    I think it's a modern fantasy piece or a copy of an ancient i don't recognize....( we will wait for the day Experts Brigade :) )
    As Hiddendragon pointed out, the metal and the craft look modern

    ancient collectors consider the 1800s to be modern... you coin looks to be a modern cast fake. can we see a view of the edge?

    i think it is a copy of a bronze coin of Herode the Great ( 1s cent AD )
