I just purchased this one today for my type set. It is a raw coin. When I got it home to look closer, I noticed the doubling in the date. Is this strike doubling? It seems to be very wide doubling, but it is shelf-like.

Does anyone know if this is a legit repunched date, or is this just strike doubling? Thanks

Can you post a picture of the whole coin? Could be a RPD, but there isn't a variety in the cherrypicker's guide matching it. If you show the whole coin, we can look at potential doubling on all the devices to evaluate for strike doubling.

I would say strike doubling. I don't believe theres a premium though.

    Strike, but still cool nonetheless.
