You think this is an S over D...?

    I found this 1950 Washington Quarter a few years back and noticed that the mint mark looked a little different. The red book reads that there is a S over D adn a D over S for that year Quarter. What say you. I still can't decide.

    I dont think it is an S over D.

    Guess I'm just hoping. Where the top of the S comes down It looks like it connects to the other part of the S. Oh well, thanks for looking. Jim

    I heard that there is a S/S...
    After looking at the photos I don't see a RPM---I think its just from some wear on the coin that makes it looks like its closed....I had one that looked just like this and I also thought it was a S/D...I took it to a dealer and he said it wasn't.
