I upgraded my Braided Hair Large Cent type coin. I purchased this from a member on another chat forum.

I hope I'm not overstaying my welcome here.

This is an 1822/1 capped bust half with a very simple, genuine look. Nothing exotic, not flashy. Just original and unspoiled.

I bought it in an ANACS holder, at XF40, at a Heritage auction in June. I was glad it crossed at grade to PCGS.
    Lance.

Picked up this token/medal,and just got a chance to image it today. It is #130 in my certified collection of horse-themed numismatic items. :)

This is definitely a departure from my norm, but I saw it last night and couldn't help myself! Guess I'll join T$ with the Ron Paul Revolution. :)

I went to walmart the other day and was looking through the dates of my change as usual and this coin stuck out so I kept it for my collection.

Gas injection Gbroke? I've never heard of this kind of coin doctoring. Please elaborate or post a link so we can read more about it.

Gbroke; I can't wait to see the product of your conservation efforts on the 1943 Half Dollar! Good luck conserving.

WingedLiberty; Your 2006 ASE is breathtakingly beautiful. I like you have never seen an ASE with that degree of toning grade to such a high mark. I love toned coins and own both NTs and ATs. Whatever coin tickles my fancy is what I buy and don't really care whether it is AT or not. Some collectors treat NTs vs. ATs like the ATs are diseased or something. They need to get a clue and un-bunch their briefs/panties! Those anti-ATs need to take a chill pill big time. And what you and others have said, If you like it and it turns you on, that is all that matters.
