1919 s half & 1927 s quarter

    Would give the Walker a F-12 grade and the SLQ a VG-8 maybe even VG-10. These are only my opinions.

    I would agree with the F12 on the Walker except for the damage, that would make it downgrade to VG8 in my opinion. I'd say the quarter is G6.

    Hey GDJMSP, what do you think that is on the Walker? I thought it was just mottled toning but not so sure now.

    roscom, do you know how these coins were stored?

    I'd say VG10 on the walker and VG8 on the quarter.

    I don't know about the toning, but the big scratches on the reverse are a problem.

    Oh I agree about the toning. But there are several large scratches on the reverse and very big gouge on the obverse. That's the damage I am speaking of.

    Yeh, I see what you mean. I had to go lighten them up with my photo editing software but I can see them now. This would cause me to drop my grade to VG-8 as well. Did not see those before.

    These 4 were and stilll in old Dansco holders.
