1939 Wheat Weak Strike or???

    I found this about a month ago--Initially, I thought it was a weak strike but, I don't really don't know for sure. Reverse is missing P in pluribus

    That is a grease strike-through. A weak strike would affect all or most of the design.

    The missing P is most likely the result of a grease filled die.

    Good eye, but I agree with the others. Searching wheats has become my new favorite Lincoln!

    Show me a 1939 cent with a "P" mint mark.

    I think hes talking about the "P" in E "P"luribus Unum.
