I have know idea how anyone selling precious metals on ebay makes any money. Their fees are outragous. Not a bad find tho.

If you have a store, they don't take as much out in fees, also for the exposure, its not a bad deal at all.

That would depend on what the local PM dealers are going to give you. For instance, I know I have some silver dimes for sale. I sold my best finds on Ebay along with a couple Mercs I bought at melt. Even though I made some mistakes on my auction, ending it at a weird time and not taking a nice pic, I still will get 52 cents more than a "we buy gold" place or a local PM dealer would give me even though I probably made some mistakes on my auction. The picture was not good and I ended the auction at a weird time. Truth is, this is a bullion coin and local bullion dealers will most likely give you market price or below for that coin. You really have to decide if what a local dealer will give you or how much you can get on Ebay with the fees and decide what is better.

Sending bullion to a refinery is any sellers best bet. Most of those We Buy Gold and Silver places will only offer 75-80% for 999 and 60-65% for 925 (and that's assuming their scales aren't rigged to rip you off like one of those places were just shut down for near me), refineries will pay 95% for 999 and 85% for 925. It's actually where most of those places send there scrap and how they make there money. Knowing where to go is half the battle as they say.
