Thanks, there were several years where they made both silver and clad proofs, correct?

    8 Boxes from the Weekend

Score a little bit more silver compared to last week and I got 1 x Frankie, so I'm on the board for 90% silver this month.

    Box 1 - Skunk
    Box 2 - Skunk
    Box 3 - Skunk
    Box 4 - 1 x 40%
    Box 5 - 9 x 40%:smile
Box 6 - Skunk - Re-wrapped and sealed. Even worse, because this box had a good code on it and it was the only one of the batch with that good code.
    Box 7 - 2 x 40%
    Box 8 - 1 x Frankie

The first 4 boxes were pretty dissappointing so I was very happy with box # 5. Without that, it would have made for an awful weekend of searching.

Here are a few images, Box # 5 had a couple rolls with multiple silver, nice!

by code, do you mean the 4 digit number stamped on the box?

im trying to figure out if that means much. all of the boxes ive order in town have the same stamps, or at least i think its the same 4 numbers. im ordering from a town about 30 miles away or so to see if there is a difference. im going to try and move further away to see if the same bank has different codes.

Yes, some have the 4 digit stamp on them but some have a date stamp and some other information. I'm not sure what they mean, but I can tell you that the date stamp (code is what I called it) was one where it always produced silver. To see all the rolls opened and the coins packed back in and the edges folded over was a real let down. Got to keep on rolling and dumping so I can get my boxes next weekend.

Sweet dimes Darchangel , We have been on quite a streak and today was amazing to me. I dropped at my farthest point and after 1 dollar of halves had registered the machine needed attention. The teller came over with the cart and serviced as I looked inside and saw some large dollars. I pulled 2 Peace dollars out and asked if I could buy them. She asked what are they. I told her they were dollars. I put 2 dollars in the reject bin and dumped my halves. I didn't even look at the dates.

Drove to my pickup bank and got my box. No markings on the box made me think are we still hot? We open the box and start finding more silver. I feel guilty because last Saturday Quicksilver and I had followed **** of the North's advice and bon fired some skunk wrappers and boxes. When Clorox said I was onfire we all know that can't last. I am hoping for the best but realize each box is different. coin hunt sept 10 2012 002.jpg coin hunt sept 10 2012 008.jpg

Nice work with the peace dollars! None of the coin counters in my area are even set up to accept large dollar coins.

First time posting to the site! Been coin roll hunting for about 3 weeks and no real "finds" other than just some run of the mill stuff I'm collecting; state quarters and such.

Well last week I was out of town on business so my dear wife went to the bank and traded out everything I had searched through so there would be some new rolls to look through when I got home. Finally got to dig into the stash tonight. Skunked on silver but boy did I come up with what I think is some pretty cool stuff.

She traded out 3 rolls of dollar coins and got back 2 rolls of US Mint wrapped, 2000P Sacagawea dollars! There was a third roll that I think is also uncirculated because it they were all 2000P, pristine condition and in with the other 2 rolls. My thought is someone got 3 rolls opened one up and then just rolled it back.

Also in the box of about $170 in quarters was a bank roll of uncirculated Georgia P quarters, or at least I think they are uncurculated. All are beautiful coins, same year and mint mark.

Finally, had the same deal with a roll of dimes. 2012 P, uncirculated in a bank roll.

Been through some of the pennies, no wheats but after 8 or 10 rolls, I probably have a full roll of copper so far. Still plenty of pennies to search.

I am opening up a big discussion but why hoard copper?

Same as yesterday without a skunk box of halves? Not bad at all. Good ratio on the Mercs.
