Lincoln cent 1983 What is It?

What is this above Lincoln's head? I thought it maybe a die chip but not sure what this be called. Can ayone identify this.

Looks like a cracked die. Or something very hard like a fragment of die has dented the die.

Looks like it took a hit from something.

 

Looks like a contact mark that has pushed up metal to one side.
