Here is a Capped Bust Half in an NGC slab. I'd like to here what you guys have to say. I don't have Al Overton's book yet, so if somebody could attribute this I would be very grateful. Also would do you think the grade is?
Thanks and looking forward to your replies.

Sorry about the bad image quality, I really hard to shoot through a slab.

    XF40. 45 on a good day.

    It's an O-117 and I'd say it's a VF 35

I'll wait until a couple more people post to reveal the grade. Thank you for posting.

XF40, it is a strong strike, not like some weak reverses, I have seen.

Ditto... But I'm leaning more towards 45.

I hope this isn't another one of those trick "Guess the Grade" threads where the coin was actual put in a net grade, details, or "Genuine" holder............................

I've been thinking about sending the coin to PCGS because to be honest even though the plastic isn't nearly as important as the coin, we can't deny the fact that if I were to resell to upgrade, PCGS coins command more money. Not to mention that the general consensus on this post has been XF45. What do you think, this would be my first time sending anything to a TPG.
    Thanks in advance.

Don't waste your time. It's not there for a 45. If you're going to do anything, send it to CAC and if it stickers you're good.

I thought CAC wasn't accepting members anymore though and I don't think I have any dealers nearby me. That is good idea though.
