Found this '98 Wide AM (pretty sure it is) but it has a large fingerprint on the obverse. Does that affect the value of the coin or is that a matter of opinion? 202186_4677543341408_2092561881_o.jpg 620810_4677561461861_366627897_o.jpg 241117_4677541501362_1590100870_o.jpg

    Yep, it's a WAM. Congrats!:thumb:
The rim damage and the hits in the fields, to me, would be more of an issue than the fingerprint.

Offers to buy, sell, or trade should be done in the B/S/T section of CT, or by PM:

Why, if the '98 is more scarce...is it worth far more less than the '99 (according to the Red Book?)
This was my 3rd box of pennies. I separated them all by the years and I'm going through them year by year. It takes a little more time but it helps me concentrate and not get confused that way.

I do the same thing.. If I going through possible silver, I look for that first, it only takes about 5 minutes..then I sort by year.. I get overwhelmed to do it any other way.. I also bought myself a coin scale.. I don't want to miss a thing....I may be a little ocd

I do believe Eps was responding to a post on each of these....so how could they have been in 1 post?

The 98 is only slightly scarce, the 99 WAM is very scarce.

See the button next to the reply with quote button? That's the multi-quote button. You can quote more than one post at a time and respond to them all at once.

He doesn't even quote people (90% of the time) anyway, so I have no idea who he is responding to.

Side note, Eps, you're doing it wrong. 200 boxes should have produced a couple at an absolute minimum, you may want to take more time going through the '98-'00 cents.
