If you had a proof set coin with a sizable strike-through error on the reverse, which grading company would you use to slab it and why? Assuming you'd have it slabbed of course. :goof:

If it were me I would use NGC because they are the most consistent.

Hi, I would leave it in the set and keep/sell it that way. Why pay $30. I have 3 different No-S proof sets and never considered removing them. But just my opinion... In your case any of the 4 major services would be best (if ICG grades errors) O/W PCGS,NGC or ANACS. Good Luck! Dan

Thanks GD. Turns out that I have an NGC authorized grading dealer in the area. I hope they still work with NGC.

Thanks Dan. I did consider keeping them in the mint container but I have seen some of the older mint paper yellow on the edges of the coin and tone the rim over a long period of time.
