I'm not going to buy these, but they look nice. Also the serial number from the description looks to be really low.

I just bought 2 sets. Worst case, if I don't like the numbers, I can return them.

At the time of this post, only 1,384 sets have been sold.
Only 1,949 sets left. Order yours now! Don't get shut out!

I just got my 2 sets, numbered 00001716 and 00001717. As of right now BEP has sold 1386 of these sets. I don't know what number they started at, but I think it's definite that it's not below 00000300.

I might be able to pass the 1717 off as a repeater on Ebay.

"Trinary" or "Binary excluding the 0's" works too!:D

I wonder who got the really low-numbered sets? It doesn't look like any of us did.

What do you consider to be really low-numbered sets ?

In this case, the ones starting with 00000, since the word is they started with 00000300 ( or 301? ). I guess I still wonder why, when I got my order in just a few minutes after the sets went on sale, that I didn't get one even lower than I got. It's a personal issue. I will now let this one go

My estimate of a starting number of 300 was not in any way based on a scientific calculation. It was a guess based on the numbers I received compared to the number of sets sold. I just want to clear that up and don't want anyone quoting my number as fact, because it is probably wrong.

I would consider any 3 digit (00000XXX) as a low serial set.

Well someone on eBay had one at 5XX and they said they picked it
Up at the worlds fair of money in Philly and that ended before they went on sale on the website so I'm thinking the really low numbers went out there.

That's it, they grabbed sets off the top of the stack and took them to Philly.Oh well, since my one set is #00000903, I actually got 6 zeros out of 8 (ok, so they ain't in a row), so I'm gonna shut up about it before I start sounding too much like d3t3ct0, whom we haven't seen lately, have we...

Actually, as a rule I consider anything beginning with 0000 to be low, so going by that, all those sets should have low #s.

Doesn't somebody have a website with production info on BEP special issues with serials and what-not? Seems to me I ran across one fairly recently.

Do you think they would have been asking for a higher price for the 3 digit notes at the philly show if they knew they could get it?
