why is the san francisco mint making non proof coins

    how long has this been going on looking at the natinal park quarters i notice some of the non proofs have the s mint mark

    Started this year.

    It was in all the papers.

    How long? This year they started with circulation coinage for general usage. Why? The Congress and US Mint figured out that collectors would pay a premium for such coinage.

    Wow. I missed this. And yes, I will pay extra for a BU example, on fleabay most likely (running about a dollar a piece).

    well this is going to confuse people thinking they are finding proofs in circulation if these quarters get out
