Here it is: The lower looks like it might be PMD, but I can't explain away the top spike. Any reasonable/unreasonable explanations? I'll assume gremlins until I hear otherwise.
anything after 1982 don't pay much attention to it unless it is something major. these copper plated zinc coins are bad for getting air bubbles under the super thin copper plating and the zinc will rot and push up all kinds of weird places. I see here on the CT forum that the zinc rot is causing some folks to think they have RPM coins , doubled dies and all kinds of things.
I have a low-end "Dino-Lite". It has a 640x480 image size and has 0.3MP resolution. Cost is the low ~$100 range. It is usually sufficient. I've seen others online who have the 1.3MP version, which is nicer, but not quite worth the added expense (around ~$300). I'm planning on buying an actual microscope with a 5.0MP camera... as soon as I feel like parting with ~$500-$800. To all who responded: Thanks for all the input! Given this information, I'll only list this with a $75 opening bid
I hear ya. I received mine as a gift, so I'm pretty content with keeping my money at the moment. If you search "Digital Microscope" on ebay, they have listings for 2.0MP digital microscopes for around the $40-$50 range. However, I can't vouch for the quality... and I'm sure they're all from China so there is likely zippy chance of returning it.
You could call it the "Devil C" and make a fortune.... JK I call this one the "Lazy E"..needs a kick stand to stay up..lol
