Repeating serial Number

    I have this one dollar bill with the serial number 32683268. What kind of collector looks for this kind of repeating sequence and what is it called? A Ladder? :goof:

    it's called a repeater. a ladder is a serial number like 12345678 or 11223344 or 60616263

    it's a cool bill to hold onto... you can get a couple bucks off ebay...

    hi moen,
    if the note is uncirculated it has a value of $8-$12, if it has an "issue date" before 1974 you can expect about $20.00. if circulated, considerably less. I hope this is helpful
