Hello all i have been coin roll searching today and I found something peculiar and pleasing. I found a 1994 with a huge cud in the o of the first 9. I am just wondering if its a keeper and well would it have a value if any, my guestimate is a few bucks or a couple. Note i dont not plan on ever selling this for i broke my back searching those coins for some sort of error or variety.

1994 cud.jpg Btw is it a cud or something else?

Minor die chip. It's not uncommon for these to occur in loops of date digits.

Realistically, they carry no premium... But, for some odd reason, fools on eBay buy these for fifty cents or even a buck.

So technically no value eh ? i would think a large die chip which this seems to be would be worth something but eh i guess whatever someones willing to pay

Die chips are common. If you like them, collect them but don't pay for them. You'll find a lot of them while roll searching.

Btw, a cud includes the rim of the coin.:)
