Cleaned??

    I'm not so sure the coin has original surfaces. Based on your pics the fields under LIBERTY look like they may have been messed with, as do the fields above the date area.

    Looks a bit gritty. That can equal an old cleaning.

    Man that sucks, guess i'll be sending it back. I might take it to a dealer first to get another opinion

    My opinion is no. That coin shows so little wear that it is difficult to tell. Usually a coin with wear has some dirt inside letters like an e or a number like the 9 in the date. This coin shows no dirt and possibly no wear of a real minimum of wear. I'd love to have that one in my Album. Looks great to me.
