Canadian nickel dollar (business strike) error

    I just picked this one up last week, and I love it...

    It is in a PCGS, MS-64 holder, 20% Off Centre. It is not quite as big as your Eisenhower Dollars, but these coins are almost 16 grams, and pure nickel. Errors like these are quite scarce.

    Only the person in the bow of the canoe is a native to North America, a French fur trader or 'voyageur' is in the stern...

    I think they call them First Nations in Canada.

    And nice coin. I like it.

    Very nice piece. I always wonder if a good portion of such errors are made and/or taken out by mint employees.
