hi, i found this 1949 australian penny in a container with other pennys and i am not sure if its a error. can anyone help plz??? cheers
Looks like someone took another penny on top of it and smashed them together with a hammer to both sides.
lol thats wat i though when i first saw it but then i saw the writings that was only 1 coin not 2 and the face and the kangooro was a bit showing if u look at it from a diffrent angle
Highly possible if you placed the coins in some angles! There are too many possibities of what the final outcome would look like!
it was set on a railroad track and crushed. That is not a joke, I've seen many coins damaged this way
