1965 sms error

    I have a 1965 sms sealed in package. the half has some major issues. Lots of missing letters on both sides. very weak rev. 1965 sms error obv.jpg 1965 sms error rev.jpg

    if i sent it to pcgs what would they rate it as far as grade and error type and what kind of value does it have. is it worth sending to pcgs

    It's not worth sending to any TPG as it would not grade higher than 66(not saying yours is a 66).

    As already stated, this is a grease filled die strike, which does happen more regularly than most people think.

    Why does (almost) everyone ask for a value first, and then if they should send to a TPG, but rarely ask about the coin itself?
