I'm looking for an apporximate value for a 1962 double die penny in VF.

also, can you tell me if the 1940 penny carried an intential die rotation? I have found two that were labeled as an error (rotated 300 degrees), but I find it more plausable to think that penny was just minted at a different angle than the later mintage variety.

-canadian pennies for the above, sorry.

Do you have any info on a 1942 Newfoundland Penny?
circulated but very crisp, very little wear and scatching evident.

    Thank you

    1942 Newfoundland 1¢ VF20 1.00,EF40 3.00,AU50 15.00, MS60 45.00, MS63 150.00.

Ngr,the Newfoundland 1942 1c. coin was struck at the Royal Canadian Mint in Ottawa, but through an error, the mintmark was inadvertantly omitted. The same also applies to the Newfoundland 1940 1c. coin as well.
